With over 30 years of experience in the dental field, Tammy has dedicated the last 25 years to working as a registered dental hygienist. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Springfield Technical Community College, where she successfully passed both the National Board Examination and the Northeast Regional Board Examination to become a licensed hygienist.

She is passionate about building lasting relationships with patients, earning their trust, and educating them on the importance of oral health. Each of her appointments lasts at least 60 minutes, allowing ample time to review general health and medical history, take necessary digital X-rays using low-radiation imaging, evaluate gum and bone health, perform an oral cancer screening, assess existing teeth and previous dental work, and provide a thorough professional cleaning. She also offers personalized oral hygiene education and nutritional guidance. Working closely with Dr. Shah, she ensures that patients are well-informed about their dental health and any recommended treatments.

To stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental care, she participates in annual continuing education courses. She is also certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) through the American Heart Association and trained in the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

At Dr. Shah’s office, the team considers each other family and extends that same warmth and care to every patient. Their shared goal is to create a welcoming, relaxed environment while delivering the highest quality dental care. She looks forward to meeting new patients and helping them achieve a healthy, confident smile.

Kristi has been welcoming patients to the practice since 1988. A Manchester native, she grew up in the community and pursued her education at Manchester Community College and Southern Connecticut State University.

Kristi’s daily responsibilities focus on ensuring efficient patient care. Her role includes scheduling appointments, managing billing, and coordinating with insurance providers to help streamline the patient experience.

She believes in making a positive impact on every patient’s life and aims to begin building a relationship from the moment they walk through the door. Her goal is to help each patient feel comfortable and leave the office with a positive experience.

Outside of the office, Kristi enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, and their sons, Andrew and Kevin. She’s also a proud cat mom to Violet.

Julia is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated with honors from Tunxis Community College in 2003 with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Before becoming a hygienist, she worked as a dental assistant, gaining valuable experience in patient care. She has been a proud member of this office for over 22 years and stays up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education courses, including training in preventive techniques and periodontal therapies. She is also CPR certified.

Fluent in English and Russian, Julia is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve optimal oral health. She works with both adults and children, ensuring they feel comfortable while providing personalized home care strategies. Patient education is a key part of her approach, empowering individuals to maintain healthy smiles through proper oral hygiene and preventive care.

Outside the office, Julia enjoys cooking, baking, and staying active with running and hiking. She also loves spending time with her family and exploring new places.

Amy is a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist with 30 years of experience in the dental field, having done every role in dentistry—from front desk to dental assisting to dental hygiene. She began her career by earning a Certified Dental Assisting degree from Tunxis Community College in 1999, followed by a Medical Office Administration degree in 2002 with a certificate in Medical Coding. In 2005, she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist and further advanced their skills by obtaining an Anesthesia License from the University of New Haven in 2006.

She specializes in caring for patients with high anxiety, having taken several dental courses on how to maintain a positive dental visit by understanding the different ways anxiety affects patients. With a passion for scaling root planning, she also has taken several courses in periodontal therapy and is an ARESTIN certified expert, enhancing her ability to provide advanced periodontal care. She additionally is certified in Laser Periodontal therapy. 

Amy also does volunteer work at the Special Olympics, where she makes mouth guards for athletes since 2005.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, skiing, spending time with her family, and their beloved dog, Dexter. With a genuine passion for dental hygiene, she is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients.

Anne-Marie Bonadies is a trained dental assistant with over 30 years of experience in the dental field. Her chair-side expertise allows her to contribute to the success of all dental and operative procedures. She loves greeting the patients with a smile and making them feel comfortable during their dental appointments. She knows a positive attitude, strong work ethic and teamwork is what creates a winning atmosphere. She enjoys working alongside Dr Shah DDS.
